UChicago Alumni Military Alumni Group (MAG) works to strengthen the bonds of the alumni communities interested in military matters through dialogue, advocacy, networking, mentoring, and service.
Our goals are to hold space for the veteran alumni community where they can share experiences and perspectives on Military Service, be a resource to mentor students interested in military service, and serve as a bridge between civil and military cultures.
We are a volunteer-led community and welcome anyone connected to the University of Chicago and the US Military to be involved.

- Join the Group - Sign up for MAG by making an account on Alumni & Friends site, then choose "My memberships" button and scroll down to Affinity Groups. Click on the "Manage my membership" button and register to be a member and receive the newsletters.

- Be part of the MAG Mentor Program to be an online mentor to a current student. After you’ve set up your account, reach out to one of the veteran alumni on the list to connect.
Through dialogue, advocacy, networking, mentoring, and service, the UChicago Alumni Association’s Military Affinity Group works to strengthen the bonds between members of the alumni community interested in military matters.
The MAG has a national planning and discussion conference call on the first Tuesday of the month at 5 pm central. If you want to join the call or learn how to join the organization, contact UChicago Alumni at alumni@uchicago.edu.
